Jane Nakiranda Kintu Program Manager Eastern Region She is in charge of the program activities in Kamuli District. She takes the lead role in ensuring program activities are implimented in accordance with the laid down stratigic plan. She supervises program staff and actively participates and co-leads the planning and budgeting processes. She provides budgetary oversight. Jane joined the program in 2009 from Central office, prior to working in VEDCO's Central office, Jane was heading the Harvest Plus funded project on promotion and utilization of orange fleshed sweet potatoes to enhance Vitamin A consumption. She holds a Bachelors degree in Environmental Science from Makerere University and a Master's degree from the UK. |

Dr. Gideon Nadiope Program Extension Officer - Livestock He is in charge of the livestock component of the CSRL program in Kamuli. He is the Program Extension officer in charge of Bugulumbya sub-country. He plans and implements livestock projects under the CSRL program. He also oversees program implementation in Bugulumbya sub-county with support from a volunteer. He supervises four Community Based Trainers: Ben Musambira, Paul Kulaba, Namulawa Yusufu and Juliet Mulowoza. Gideon joined the CSRL Kamuli team in 2008 from the private sector. He is a Veterinarian and holds a master of science degree in Animal Health. |

Charles Kategere Volunteer on Livestock Project Charles is a volunteer on the livestock project and is in charge of Nawanende and Kasambira Parishes. He proviedes techical support to the CBTs working in Bugulumbya sub-country. Under the direction of Dr. Nadiope implements livestock projects under CSRL. Charles joined the CSRL team in 2010, he was a High School agriculture teacher prior to that. He holds an Associate degree in agriculture with an animal husbandry emphasis. |

Patrick Sangi Program Extension Officer Agronomy - Nalwoli and Butansi Parishes Patrick is the Program Extension officer in charge of Nalwoli and Butansi Parishes. He is responsible for the argonomy component of the CSRL program. He provides technical support and supervision for CBTs Steven Igaga, Susan Namabiro, Paul Mudhasi, and Johnson Mitala. Patrick joined the CSRL team in 2008 from the Central region. He holds an Associate degree in agriculture from Bukalasa College and is completing his bachelors degree in Agriculture from Uganda Martyrs University, Nkozi. |

Community Based Trainers (CBTs)
Community Based trainers serve as Frontline extension agents for the program. They work and live in the communities although they are assigned to work in Parishes next to their homes. They work with 100 households and about 15 groups. They make training and follow up visits to households and groups. Program extension officers provide CBTs with technical support, supervise their work and serve as their trainers. The following are the CBTs of the CSRL program and their duty stations.
