
Make a Gift
The Center for Sustainable Rural Livelihoods (CSRL) was created at Iowa State University with a gift from our initial benefactors, who shared the university's vision for its role in discovering and applying sustainable solutions to world hunger. Private gifts continue to be a critical source of revenue for the Center, and to continue our successful projects in the future, we will continue to rely on private gifts to support our work.
Private gifts fund activities such as demonstration plots and farmer training, travel expenses, student and faculty/staff support, and other program development efforts. Gifts at every level can make a difference in our programs. More substantial gifts help us expand the scale of current projects, add complementary activities, endow graduate student fellowships or faculty positions, or initiate projects in countries or regions that are not currently being targeted by CSRL. Financial gift options are described below.
Gift Options
The ISU Foundation accepts and manages all gifts designated to CSRL and
is able to receive your gift on-line, by mail, or over the phone. You

Donors to the Center can choose to designate their gift to one of our many project areas. To provide the greatest flexibility to the Center Director, please indicate that your gift should be added to "Sustainable Rural Livelihoods - Account 2701715."You may also designate your gift to the following:

Non-cash and Planned Gifts
Donors may also choose to make gifts of stock, real estate, or personal property, or may choose to make
a deferred commitment through a will bequest, charitable remainder trust or other gift planning vehicle.
